Lucille Margarette (Britain) Foster, age 89 of Clinton, MO, died April 5, 2015 at Truman Lake Manor, Lowry City, MO. Lucille was born on December 2, 1925 in Chautauqua, Kansas to Don Britain and Angie (Dozier) Britain. She graduated from Longton High School in Longton, KS in 1943 and married Bill L. Foster on September 25, 1943 in Sedan, KS. She was a member of Eastern Star of Springfield, MO and the First Baptist Church of Willard, MO. Surviving Lucille is her daughter, Karen Miller of Springfield, MO, a son John Foster and wife Cheryl of Clinton, MO, 5 grandchildren, Sheila Anderson (Kyle), Brent Hood (Ramona), Tyson Foster (Angie), Summer Bryant (Shawn), and Cody Foster: 8 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Lucille in death were her husband, Bill Foster and her parents and siblings. Under the direction of Consalus Funeral Home, Clinton, a memorial service will be conducted at Consalus Funeral Chapel, 209 S. 2nd, Clinton, MO on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will take place at a later date at the Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cedar Vale, KS. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Truman Lake Manor and left in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be left online at this website.
