Note
The Tred Avon records make note of the appointment of Samuel, January 1718, to succeed his father, lately deceased, as inspector of the Weekly Meeting at Choptank. Samuel was sent to England to be educated, reading law in the Temple, and after his return to MD took a prominent position at the Bar of Talbot and the neighboring colonies.
