FARMINGTON - Mary Lee Menge of Farmington passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Parkland Health Center at the age of 78 years. She was born on September 26, 1929, at Cantwell, MO, the daughter of the late Lee and Lucy G. (Holmes) Forshee. She was also preceded in death by husband, Milton Menge.

Mrs. Menge was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington, where she served as Sunday School teacher for many years. She retired from Parkland Health Center after 25 years in the Food Service Department.

She is survived by a daughter, Paulette Killian and husband, Jim, a son, David Dwight Lee Menge, all of Farmington, grandson, Lance Kiepe and wife Christy, granddaughter, Rachel Crites and husband Jon, two great-grandchildren, Logan and Layton Kiepe, and sisters-in-law, Sheila Kaun and husband Bill of Hillsboro, and Barbara Haywood and husband Boyce of the State of Michigan. Several nephews, other relatives, friends and her church family also survive.

The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Cozean Chapel with Dr. William Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery. Memorials to the First Baptist Church of Farmington or the Humane Society of the Ozarks.
