Bertha Burr of East Bonne Terre died in Festus Nov. 28 at the age of 75 years. She was born in Lawrenceton June 26 1981, daughter of the late William and Armina Pigg Byington. Surviving are: her husband, Bert Burr of East Bonne Terre, eight children, William Burr of Viburnum, Walter Burr of Farmington; Louis Burr of Viburnum, Ethel (Mrs. Joe Spain) of Festus, Reva (Mrs. James Thurman) of Flat River, Viola (Mrs. Joe Axtetter) of Festus, Charles Burr of Bonne Terre, Albert Burr of Creve Couer; four brothers and sisters, Mrs. Cora Saylor of Farmington, Mrs. Ethel Schanfele of Detroit, Mich., William Robertson of St. Louis , Howard Robertso; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Bonne Terre First Baptist Church with the Rev. Edward Goodwin officiating. Interment will be in Three Rivers Cemetery under direction of C. Z. Boyer and Son service, Bonne Terre, St. Francois County. |
