CECIL DEWEY SMITH:

Cecil Dewey Smith, son of the late Joe and Cora Holmes Smith, was born in Ste. Genevieve County, Mo., August 7, 1897, and died in Bonne Terre Hospital, February 26, 1957,aged 59 years. He resided in Farmington and was employed by St. Joseph Lead Company.

He was married to Pearl Adeline Griffin, who preceded him in death on December 13, 1947. A daughter, Mrs. (Mae Emogene) Paul Haynes, of Farmington survives; also three brothers: Elbert Smith, Desloge; Earl Smith, St. Louis, and Leeman Smith, Farmington; and sisters: Mrs. (Virginia) Herbert Holland, St. Louis; Mrs.(Ethel) Mel Thurman, and Miss Maude Smith, Farmington, besides other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, at the Salem Church, conducted by the Rev. Raymond Bellfield. Interment will bein the Salem Cemetery. Cozean Service.
