Daughter of Stanley Gardner Lee and Isabel (Sumner) Lee. Barbara was born with Downs Syndrome. She spent most of her life in institutions. In her early 40's Barbara was moved to a group home where they began educating her. She was an active participant in the Special Olympics and won several medals during her lifetime. Barbara moved to Spokane in the early 1990's to live with her sister, Doris (Lee) Clark. There she enjoyed spending time with her Aunt, Ruby (Sumner) Mason. Barbara was cremated and her ashes interred with her mother, Isabel.
