Note

A farmer at Lebanon, Connecticut, and after 1794, at Westmoreland, Oneida county, New York, until 1806, when he removed to Burr's Mills, New York, near Watertown, Jefferson county, and soon to Rutland, near by, where he died. He was tall, and thin in flesh, naturally cheerful and sprightly. He was for two or three years (1780-83) a soldier in the Revolutionary war, and was at the taking of Yorktown.
